I'd keep the name and not worry too much (I like it). Going after a small open source project would be bad press for DocuSign and even if they did, it would be a promotion for DocuSeal and you could change the name afterwards.

It can't be used to track citizens as there is no need scan the ticket when boarding a bus / train / light rail / underground and it rarely is checked manually by a ticket inspector.

I'm not sure you can fault BTRFS for the issue you've experienced. It sounds like your system had a problem which lead to you breaking your (likely perfectly fine) BTRFS file system.
