I think people get the wrong impression about things too, because your story is definitely the more common one than the article. Of course, no one goes around writing articles about the peaceful and uneventful transfer of property or righ

Absolutely, and I didn't mean my post to come across that way. This topic makes me a bit glum, and I think that comes across as defeatist, but I'd rather take on the correct, losing fight, than not fight at all.

Well... no. If you could say a magic word that induced a seizure, you would be prohibited from saying that too.

Showing an image designed to induce a seizure in someone with a neurological disorder is not unlike poisoning. It's so refreshing to finally be on the same page.

That has nothing, and I mean nothing to do with the article, or any discussion regarding it. Why do you keep bringing up that non sequitur?

No, it's like you being deathly allergic to shellfish, and me coating your glass with shrimp extract. It's a clear attempt to harm without any concern for potentially injurious or fatal outcomes.

You know, if the man had fallen and died, this would be an open-and-shut case of 2nd degree murder via "depraved indifference".

Yeah... that's a lot of momentum to deal with, in a rail gun. Deflecting it would be hard, and disrupting it would tend to turn the slug into a co-moving cloud of superheated particles/plasma. I'm not sure that's hugely

This is the same Valve with the "hat" empire, and CS:GO gambling scandals, right?

I agree, but I think "complex simulation" is the opposite kind of product most AAA houses are designed to produce. Most games are far far from complex, to the point of adding on arbitrary mechanics to add a feel of complexity.

I enjoyed it, then I became suspicious, then I saw where the show was going and bailed. There's nothing special about writing yourself into a corner after all.

The Wii was unique, and will not happen again. It was the right place, the right product, and the right time to capitalize on the exploding definition of "Games" and "Gamer". That's over. People have either moved on

At the very least, with Nintendo it pays to wait and see, and with their mobile line (which this is probably a part of in a sense) there is always a "DS" and "DSL" edition to come out. You rarely are burned by waiting an

I'm in the US here, so I'm not sure where out options differ. For me, I do (as a poster below noted) like anime so Crunchyroll is a good choice. Hulu is good for seasonal TV stuff, and then I actually use a smartDNS to get access

That takes time, effort, skill, and dedication to craft. You do get games like that... Witcher 3 springs to mind in fact. It's not something EA or Ubisoft can crank out twice a year and monetize to the tune of $120-$200 per unit.

It's useful to recognize it, while simply abiding by only the parts of it which suit you. After all, if you need to, you can always ignore it and deny it. That's the reality of war.

Or edge cases like me will get that little boost to just give up on Netflix. I already use them less than other streaming services, and I could always just turn it on and off again.
