Manna shaped a lot of my worldview on tech and humanity. People with vision like that are extremely rare. He will be sorely missed.

Amazon accepts subpoenas and other legal summons. You just need to engage an attorney. Whether it’s egregious enough for that I don’t know, but you will definitely get in contact with them if you use one.

And this is why I agree with the government that Google has to sell off Chrome. This behavior just pisses me off. “Don’t do evil”, my ass.

I’d be surprised if that happened in a Trump-run trade environment. I know Elon has his ear, but still…

In a way, that doesn’t matter for the US. Consider that the US has an enormous trade deficit. If the US brought to even, then all those exporting countries with large surpluses would be in bad shape. This is a complex problem, and when th

I’d bet significant money that Qualcomm would invest heavily to make riscV successful if they get hosed by Arm. Its take a few years, but they will succeed.

There is a reason US cell rates are so high. That reason is because of lock-in. If they did what you want, rates would fall, as would their profitability. I expect them to fight this tooth and nail.

I’m a tor novice, so please excuse the simplistic question… Couldn’t a national security organization just modify a node to route traffic to other nodes it controls instead of uncontrolled nodes?
