YouTube wants it. Imagine all the grassroots movies. Already some of the Star Wars fan shorts are getting pretty good and the writing is already better than some of the movies that hit the theaters. YouTube wins when content is created by

For people who are interested, I highly recommend reading the bill. It's actually fairly straightforward, so I won't regurgitate the specific text, as you can easily read it on Page 6, lines 10 through 20. [0] The main situation

I think there is something much more fundamental going on... 1. Maintenance is expensive. 2. Maintenance of living systems is even more so. 3. People hate spending money on maintenance. 4. You reap what you sow. We can'

I agree completely. I'm trying to highlight that this is a particularly egregious way of counting users. I fully expect that if this continues past a few months, then shareholders will demand real numbers ("active" users) as

MoM numbers can be bumpy and bounce around a bit every month regardless. YoY numbers smooth out that bumpiness. It's very possible that next month we see numbers go up, which would make this report an outlier, and the YoY numbers more

I really hope that when the Pi 5 comes out that the one thing they change is the number of PCIe lanes in a meaningful way. As much as I’d like all sorts of other improvement, this one improvement is far above the rest for me.
