In Windows 10 I think MS ship trackpad drivers now, on the old Surface products at least two finger tap is definitely a right click anyway.

It has an IAP option to remove ads that you don't see unless you're using features which are new to this version of Solitaire. I'd prefer it not to have game play interrupting ads obviously (though frankly I've only used

I feel like these titles are pretty disingenuous, as far as I'm aware you get all the functionality of the old Solitaire game and more for free without being shown any ads at all, while the ads are only in a new game mode. Not to say I

I used to spell it like that when I was younger, I'll admit I'd completely forgotten until I just saw this conversation. I imagine it's just one of those things that's dying off with increased globalisation.

Project Spartan was the codename for the project, Edge is the official name, it will be changed over in an upcoming preview build I imagine.

It's way beyond IE11, what the article was referring to is the score of the IE11 version running with all the optional flags of the Edge rendering engine, which you can't configure in Spartan yet. Honestly I think it'll have

They've stated that they will have extension support, and the rumour is that porting Chrome extensions will be incredibly easy. As for sandboxing, I just had a quick look at task manager and it seems to spawn a new process per tab.

Would've been great to see this happen five years, seems like it's largely irrelevant now with the prevalence of HTML5 video compression for short clips.

The rumour at the moment is that they're going to use an extremely Chrome like extension system, either native support for Chrome extensions or an extremely minimal conversion process required.

I've been thinking that Spartan will probably go cross platform at some point, an opportunity for them to get a few more Microsoft accounts created and it's not like it being Windows only is going to convince people to switch.

Have you read the judgement? It quite literally says they contravened articles 8 or 10 of the ECHR but now comply. With a quick read up on the ECHR it seems that the judgements made are binding but, since according to the judgement they are

It'll never get any traction, the porn filters got through because pretty much no voting adults were bothered by it. Very different scenario when it's something that people actually use, especially with elections coming up.

Japan's labour force is proportionally higher than at least that of the UK and USA, their debt crisis is much more pressing than any labour issues right now.

Film is art, it's important people remember that, HFR is just another tool - it shouldn't be forced upon people. You won't see people claiming 3D is an inherently superior format to film in, we shouldn't see the same for

People need to take a step back and remember that film is art, it's not always meant to be the best possible depiction of reality. 48 fps can be better, but 24 fps can too, it's another tool for a director to use. The issue is whe

I hadn't thought about it before, but I wonder if Yahoo would be willing to front a Firefox advertising campaign across its portals; similar to how Google used to (stil does?) promote Chrome across its own properties.

They have 5% unemployment, and, after a quick check, it seems like a similar labour force to population ratio to the UK and US. I'm not an economist, but in their position, what would mass immigration solve?
