Clojure's great for this too, I've never seen a Clojure programmer generating HTML with string templates and that's not because Clojure programmers are more disciplined, it's because Clojure's syntax is flexible

I'm honestly really annoyed that streaming doesn't have a better cover art story. Like, it seems like it should be such an easy thing to arrange it so if I'm listening to an album I can see the album cover in high resolution

I'll add that if you're doing work on managed hardware, you really want IT to be your friends, and this is not a good way to accomplish that. Certainly talk to them too about the impact the device policy is having on you, but don&

This is terrible, terrible advice and it's going to get someone fired. I got fired for similar behavior back in 2016. If your company's device policy is preventing you from doing your work, talk to your manager, talk about the wor

Ok but now you're asking for something weirder and more restrictive than "paying for firefox", right? If I buy a laptop from Lenovo I don't get to say oh I don't want to pay for tablet development, I just want all o

Minor nit: Clojure at no point gets converted to Java, Clojure gets converted to JVM bytecode. IIRC Clojure occasionally emits bytecode you couldn't produce with Java. (Clojurescript does [transpile/compile, pick your favorite] to
