It's using an old (v0.9.9) version of smoothscroll plugin. This issue was actually raised in its Github Repo [1]. Reportedly new version detects if the input device does inertial scrolling and disables itself in that case. Of course a

In your app, the "ultrasonic" signal is still audible to me. On that youtube video, I stop hearing stuff around 17,5kHz.

While you're at it, a "Speed up" button would be handy as well :).

I think it's mainly a US thing. Here in Poland it's also unheard of that courier would leave the package unattended on the doorstep, because recipient's signature is required.

If you want server-side encryption, then Tarsnap is probably better for you.

I have tar that came with the system (latest OSX) and tar -xf works just fine. And it did work fine for as long as I can remember.

I used it as well yesterday and it worked very well! The only thing that could be probably explained better is how to set up file permissions for the renew script, I had to do this by trial and error. An example of few commands implementing

Nothing will. Checking for https for validation whether author of a website has malicious intents is wrong, SSL is not intended for that purpose. That's the purpose of an EV cert, because it requires a company to prove its identity, so

Is there any specific reason they are using port 80, instead of some high, unused port, which would not require root privileges to open?

Would it help somehow if I provided the authors with some of my private photos for training the network? I have thousands photos that have faces/names tagged on them in my Photos app (OS X). If that would be of any help, I would happil

I think the best part is the "what's new" section: http://home.mcom.com/home/whats-new.html I imagine that today every minute more new stuff appears on the Internet than in all of those what's new p

Actually, Forklift is broken in El Capitan, at least for me. It just freezes after few seconds upon launching and then fails to recognize user input, or lags terribly.

For additional 20 zloty on top of my normal plan I get unlimited LTE (i.e. about 100 GB with full speed, then it can slow down).

Do you need 32GB of RAM in a laptop? 16GB ought to be enough for anybody ;). Sarcasm aside, this is probably purely business driven decision. The tech is there and it's nearly zero difference for the manufacturer to put either 8GB or 1

I'm from Poland. We have Donald Tusk (D. Tusk) here, who is the President of the European Council since 1 December 2014, and previously he was Prime Minister of Poland from 2007 to 2014. It would be funny if that had any connection to

Not really, it's still RGB, because you still have the same number of red, green and blue cells. PenTile has twice as much green pixels than red or blue (RGBG).

I would not call it a minor change. Umbrella design hasn't changed for centuries and it always had the same problems. This design fixes them, so I, for one, welcome it with open hands and I'm happy it reached HN, because I wouldn&
