Is it? Currently it's working for me, both the website and the API (for both 3.5 & 4). Yesterday the API was really slow though, sometimes it took like 30 seconds to respond to very simple queries.

Hmm, I used a much simpler prompt and actually got to play a valid game with it. My prompt was: > Let's play tic tac toe! We will take turns naming our moves and each time you move please list all moves so far. If either of us wins

I'm afraid there's little any algorithm can do if the video you feed it with is that garbage quality, unless it just rebuilds it from scratch using pose estimation etc. but at this point it's just a brand new video.

Yeah I would consider pet owners and people with depression (so groups of people that benefit from this specific tool) a part of general public, both are fairly large groups.

Curious that you’ve put ketamine, a well known anesthetic used primary by the vets but recently also used in depression treatment [1], in that list of “harmful tools with no practical uses”. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki

Like the sibling comment said it looked way more impressive back in the day. Plus it looks better when in motion precisely because of the dynamic lightning.

I have fond memories of playing Quake 2 for some time and then buying a Voodoo card. It suddenly looked like a totally different game. It wasn’t just the resolution and texture filtering - Quake 2 in GL mode used a totally different, dynami

Thanks for the suggestion, but there are two problems with this approach for me: - it would require me to switch email storage again (and I have a lot of email that would need to be moved, I don't want to go through this again) - set

> It remains criminal to have any THC in your system when driving even with a prescription though Rightly so. I mean maybe it’s too strict (i.e. you’re totally sober but still will be penalized for having anything show up in your blood)

I don’t think they stopped. I bought a relatively new Switch game recently and (for science) checked the card, and it was in fact bitter.

They do tons of R&D work and sometimes they’re working silently for many years before they release an actual product. This was the case with iPhone for example.

Maybe it's just me, but I have no idea what this is (I never saw onekb.net) and how to use it.

Correct, for up-to-date and regional queries Kagi still is a bit lacking, it's the only reason I sometimes fire up Google.

It’s obviously not perfect, but it’s pretty darn impressive that AIs can do this now. Something like this was not possible just three years ago. I can’t wait to see what this technology will be capable of in the next few years.

I recently switched to Kagi and it’s the first time I don’t want to go back to Google. And I tried many other search engines in the past, none of them stuck with me.

Thanks for mentioning this, I never knew you could do this, that would make my hacky CSS+JS animations a lot less hacky :D.

Yeah the "safety" bit probably refers more to safety of the parent company that made the bot. Too much focus on making a tool safe and you end up with a useless tool. Want to have "safe" knives? Just make them all blunt,

I still try to speak politely to ChatGPT. When the AI uprising finally happens I hope they will see that I was always nice to the AIs and don't kill me on the spot.

He actually does mention how you could use ChatGPT in tandem with Wolphram|Alpha to produce results that are actually correct, which I think is a very neat idea.

QT is a huge dependency that you have to bundle with your app. This is tiny in comparison. Also probably easier to prototype with.

Okay, this is seriously cool, it's a better summary of the code than I could give just by reading it (and the code being minified doesn't help here).

Yeah nowadays CSS is pretty powerful, back in the day the CSS couldn't even handle your website layout, had to use tables for that ;)

It’s literally in the name - “Full Self-Driving”. They’ve been marketing this for years (probably still do).
