The video has a fatal flaw. You can't read the text. Please maximize the terminal window, and use a larger font. Otherwise, nice idea.

It's possible to descend to lower levels, if given enough curiosity. Some people just want to know how things work under the hood. I can remember starting to program our brand new PET-2001 in BASIC (at 13 years old or so). After a while I b

One thing that bugs me about putty is its cramped GUI, which isn't even resizeable. (The terminal screen is, but not the windows in which you configure the connection parameters).

An acquaintance of mine who once worked at a mexican restaurant told me that there was hardly any profit made on the food -- the profit came from the drinks the restaurant sold along with it. The taco as a loss leader ;-) Same with inkjet

I got curious what you meant by 'INTJ and INTP'. I founds this in the WikiPedia: "INTJ (introversion, intuition, thinking, judgment) is an abbreviation used in the publications of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to refer to one of th

The same happened to me, on a bunch of old diskettes I found a computer game I wrote more than two decades ago. http://www.michielovertoom.com/software/risky-software-archa... It's revealing to look at source code you wrote 20 years ago.

This reminds me of a medieval tale, telling the adventures of the Belgian scoundrel Tijl Uilenspiegel: "Tijl was visiting the market, and noticed a food stand where a butcher was roasting chickens over a fire, spreading a delicious smell. T

Same here, both my providers Xs4all and Ziggo were ordered by a Dutch judge to block thepiratebay.org, an initiative of MPAA sockpuppet 'BREIN foundation'. See http://www.xs4all.nl/geblokkeerd/ I know that it can be easily circumvented,
