Thanks! Building a database is a long road as the baseline for zero is so high, but we're really happy with the open source approach. Decentralized collaboration suits the team too (I actually saw an article called 'I Want Decentr

Thanks - we thought that too! I might re post to see if we just got timing wrong. I haven't seen the OCaml Irmin before - very interesting and some parallel ideas. I think this sort of store is going to become a popular choice as it hi

TerminusDB 1.1 - the Big Babushka! So happy to put this out. It could almost be a 2.0, but given that we are a young DB, we want to save those release numbers for future exciting developments (I did see another DB on release 0.50.0 - I wo

Tl;dr: Graph is the coming data model. The world will change, but some people haven’t seen it yet, so there is an opportunity. TerminusDB is an open source model driven graph DB. We see a world full of opportunity and want to help people to

Yes - a graph database implemented in Prolog and Rust (the storage layer - better for nitty-gritty bit manipulation). We think it's a great general purpose DB with all sorts of interesting features. Cool stuff coming on the platform, s

SWI Prolog deserves a moment as it is amazing. Terminus uses it not because of some ideological position but as it is the best technology for the job.

We are pushing out documentation (worked examples etc.) as fast as we can so hopefully it will be come more understandable. In terms of making money, we'll launch a hosted platform in the near future.
