It will, I’m doing DP to HDMI 4:4:4 4K@120Hz (and expecting HDR in the near future) from an RX 7900XTX to an LG C3 on Linux. I’m using the Club3D active adapter, which is the only one I found in reviews to reliably work. And it does, 0 prob

Cool usage of XSLT: https://tomi.vanek.sk/ a WSDL viewer implemented as a set of XSLT transformations that translate the original XML definitions into HTML.

Also terrible software and firmware. Examples are the programs for motherboard RGB control from Asus, Asrock, MSI, Gigabyte, etc.

We may identify with it. Doesn't mean we'd like to, though.

I dislike macros for that reason when reading code on GitHub or Docs.rs, but Rust was kind of made to be used with an IDE (or LSP).

I like Rust’s syntax and dislike Elixir/Ruby’s. I also prefer Erlang’s to Elixir, lol.

I went from a Sandy Bridge (i5 2500k) to a Ryzen 9 3950x, and the perceived performance improvement was insane. You also have to take into account RAM and PCIe generation bumps, NVMe, etc.

I think some people see having an older generation iPhone as sending a signal of "I’m poor", a status thing. Pretty ugly thing, but the act of buying iPhones on credit happens too often.

There’s an ISP in Switzerland offering 25Gbps, they provide a Mikrotik. They’re called init7.

I put a couple of Noctua NF-14 over the top ventilation holes in my rack, with the silicone mounting thingies and the NA-FC1 PWM controller. They are almost silent in winter. The switch with 10Gb copper is under the fans.

I have a few SFP+ doing 10GbE over UTP from 10Gtek in a Mikrotik. They work perfectly, although hot (to be expected).

You have to be inside Excel and use the data import tools. You cannot double click to open, it outs everything in one cell…

When using clickhouse-local like this, does it build a logical plan and run the optimizer on it? Does it have any kind of code generation, since it knows the query (and physical data layout) ahead of time?

When I stayed in California (Santa Barbara), I saw trucks everywhere, mainly carrying a few tools. To me, a European van like the typical Peugeot is much more useful, since it’s closed and a lot more fuel efficient. Of note, there was a V10

I know you’re joking, but where I live in Spain it’s very rare, we normally store tools in the basement garage. In the north, Galicia and Asturias, it’s much more frequent to have wooden sheds in the countryside.

That’s true, but the Apple chips are not built on the base Arm designs and don’t use Adreno, they also use more proprietary IP in the SoC.

Well, yeah. You have to be careful. Here, houses are made of brick, and almost no one has a shed, YMMV.

For people that don’t know, regular wasps always leave in the face of danger to the nest. If you have the typical small nest, the easiest thing you can do is hit it fast with a broom or similar. They will all disappear in seconds. I’ve seen
