NASA recently made a deal with Rocky Linux, which is literally just RHEL with branding replaced afaik. Probably pissed IBM real bad since they're usually the government's darling for tech contracts

25% of that traffic was asking questions answered by a glorified markov chain. I dont think stackoverflow lost any valuable users or interaction unless they're looking for newbies with syntax errors to flood the place.

Writing technical articles is hard. They're usually research note dumps or technical jargon mixed in with some english words.

Your comment makes zero sense to me. But the solution to the EPA being inefficient is fixing it, not shutting it down and reversing all the work it did since the 70s

Why the hell does it have to be AI? A regex would be faster to run, test, and diff check. Even better, instead of paying a programmer to waste your time just pay an actual editor to proof read it

Still, any machine translator worth your time would know what the phrase zip file is, unless it's not a machine but someone manually changing it.

No one likes secret internet clubs, they're lame and end up as a circlejerk or a hugbox, much like early IRC servers and discord servers now. Opinion: lobste.rs sucks because you need to be one of the chosen people to post there, and y

A lot of people would want more and therefore stay with their job. Society won't just simply throw their paperwork out the window and become hermits.

Manpages aren't all the same quality. Look at the manpage for find(1) https://linux.die.net/man/1/find An enormous page full of switches and options, yet if you're a beginner it's basically useless.

But does C need a nullptr keyword? If you're programming in C, you usually define 0 as an invalid value, or a null value. C doesn't have the insane type system C++ has and doesn't have a very strong need to make a distinction
