The occupants of the trolley had intentionally run over many people in the past. Ender had reason to believe that they intended to do so again. We only have the word of the dormant hive queen that they didn't intend to again. (Spoiler

Doesn't Ender continue to attack Stilson and Bonzo after they are down? Stilson, yes. Bonzo, no. Bonzo was effectively dead but still standing when Ender kicked him in the groin. Are we to assume that he doesn't know that doing

It sounds like your dermatologist is not just a good doctor but also a good person. Giving the same (high?) standard of care to patients without regard to their financial resources.

I've been vaping for 4 years. I still want a cigarette sometimes but it's becoming less frequent that I feel like I need one.

The caffeine is coke is synthetic. Using synthetic caffeine is cheaper than extracting it from coffee. To the best of my knowledge, the only place where they still use caffeine from coffee is Japan.

I smoked for about 18 years and I made the switch to vaping a few years ago. I haven't completely given up tobacco smoking but I have cut back tremendously. I tried to quit several times, I tried the gum, the patches, Chantix and cold

Dogs will naturally break away from your gaze if they're not sure they could take you in a physical confrontation. That's not cultural. Some things are just built into us, not that we don't have the power to override them thr

It's not so easy to control because judges have to be re-elected or aspire to sit on higher benches and having police unions oppose you can make that more difficult. There's a reason why there are more former prosecutors on the be

This is the best advice. I learned more about programming when I had a task in mind that I wanted to accomplish than I did just going through the motions with a book or for a class.

I can't help what other people think. I know my craft and I'm good at what I do. Code that I wrote as an intern was in use for many years (to the best of my knowledge, it still is) at a former employer.

I would leave that information off because I had no way of knowing if it would be a help or a hindrance. If I apply to Google in the future, I will probably include it.
