Sorry but I have to say it "Betteridge's law of headlines" so NO. If by mobile first you mean smartphones and tablets, absolutely not, these don't have enough processing power to replace desktops unless all you do is email some docs and web

This reminded me of the last AIChallenge ( http://ants.aichallenge.org ) it was a great experience and made me choose between adding features, improve existing ones or fix hard to find problems with a relatively short time remaining since I

For web I prefer PHP or Java, for client side just JavaScript, but then that is because those are the two languages that I am more familiar with and know more about, in the end it will depend on language preference. I would advice not going

While this comment may not contribute much because I didn't read the article yet I would like to complain on the font size way too big for me to read comfortably without resorting to zoom. Not just the text but the "Stay Updated" area in th

Exactly what I thought, I have been going through the comments and seems to be something that most people don't think about, without video evidence to support what the voter says I call it lying.

Agreed, what annoys me more in kickstarter are projects that use it as a way to get preorders. Existing a finished product or not to me seems to go away from funding the project its just a way to buy and sell

Some laptops have a fake card to fill the slot, why not do the same with one that follows the outside lines so it doesn't look bad while keeping the slot clear from dust?

Only after reading your comment I understood that it does not have a spring loaded slot, it's the first that I know of that does not have one. And now I'm wondering if there is not 1cm more to make the card go fully inside the computer? Doe

I don't want to start a flamewar here but "Neither are macs" sounds somewhat arrogant to me, serious and honest question am I the only one to think that? Edit to comment about the depth limit: I can't comment any deeper. (Karma related?)

Am I the only one who remembered the RS-MMC cards? I'm not even sure if the macbook can read them (I don't own or will ever own one). But from what I remember it would fit and not be too long, maybe too short?. Edit: Ok found out that RS-MM

Take this with a grain of salt because I feel I am biased towards PHP but here it goes. Python while a nice language that I have tried, I absolutely hate the indentation, I hate to have to write code and care about its indentation, I prefer

I have suggested this before on another thread and i'm not sure if you can do it on your phone but here it goes. Root it and use titanium backup to force uninstall, it's how I removed all the junk.

Root it, install titanium backup, remove it (if its not rootable then there is no way that im aware of). That's what I did for my HTC desire so I could remove the crapware (fb app included) on it.

First of all I would like to say that I'm no fan of these 54/whatever hour coding rushes, I think it makes people go too fast with poor planning and NO time for testing anything, even for developing looks short, I would rather take my time

Maybe not just the ruby community, I feel the same about the node community, from my rather short experience, most of the time I see a lot of them praising ruby/node/etc as the ultimate solution to everything, and that makes me run from tho
