My reasoning for ranting was less directed at you and more at the idea that the article held up as you. I never thought about it and hence never realised that my disagreement was misdirected. I regret not thinking before posting...

Are you trying to imply that those 15 year olds on voice chat on xbox live won't be calling each other "faggot" in real life? Because if so you're being very naive. Even saying xbox live is anonymous is wrong really, their gamer tag is tied

Because this story was already posted a couple days ago and never really received much attention I'm going to repost my comment from that story. It was in responce to someone comparing his new "innovative" game to myst and how Blow is much

Mobile steam is already there so it wouldn't be a huge leap. Currently it's pointless except for the chat because, yeah I could buy that game on the go. But why?

I completely forgot about the level of availability of Netflix to people in other countries. I've heard it's going badly down the drain in the US but it just rolled out a couple months ago in the UK and it's been improving in quality ever

It's a girl. It's a brush. It's from Hyperbole and a Half.[1] It's the overly used image that bothers me most because that person needs the traffic and their image is pretty popular yet they never get accreditation for it. [1] http://hyper

And he completely misses the point of the argument. "There isn’t anything in the system that isn’t in him." This small sentence just completely shows his ignorance of virtual machines. Yes my tinyxp system is running within Ubuntu, that do

I dislike the Chinese room experiment. The argument that he doesn't understand Chinese is like arguing that the hardware itself isn't an AI. No it isn't it is the software that is the AI. It is the set of instructions that he is following

"Refuses to buy a TV even though -snipped- is on." Forgetting about Netflix on your pc are you? In fact, watching shows on a specific channel as opposed to via an on demand service such as Netflix is actually a worse experience. Because I w

Is this article not taking into account that the inebriated men were also fed sweets that the non-inebriated category also lacked. A higher blood sugar level may also have contributed.

Indeed, my university uses a service called Turnitin to rate the percentage of coursework that is plagiarised, along with giving where from etc. It's pretty nice actually, can recognise when things are quoted and not passed off as your own.

I see what you are trying to say. But surely this is sexist in the same way as only looking for girls at a bar is sexist. I.E. Not sexist at all. Especially considering the app has a male search setting, but is off by default. I agree that

If every single person who wanted to help out just kept saying "But these people need it more!" Then these kids wouldn't get the morale boosts they so sorely need. People need to do these things. You can't just say "He isn't being efficient

One thing that bothers me about any and all up-vote/down-vote systems is exactly what has happened to Batista. He expresses an opinion that is contrary to what other people are saying and he gets down-voted into oblivion. This just feeds in
