This is really nice, I'll almost definitely be using this in the future. I just have one question, how does downloading work? Can the purchaser download whenever they want or is it like uplay where you only have a month to download?

I really do enjoy reading about terrain generation algorithms, I've been playing with perlin noise but haven't managed to make anything that looks realistic yet. I don't know whether you'd judge my tried and true method

I suppose you're right. I was surprised at how few people took part in the mini I did (#40 http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/?p=221661 ). I wonder whether the main LD entries get more or less feedback than the minis.

If I end up participating this will be my first full LD. I've taken part in a miniLD before and did well, though the big names involved in the main one is a little intimidating.

There is another important possibility; you only just became a programmer and are inherently "late to the party" when it comes to Github. I don't see how anyone could use a join date as a measurement of someone's skill a

This only works when both sides are sufficiently advanced and willing to take part in the system. You would still need an army for when enemyCountryX decides that they can just pummel you because you're busy playing video games.

A similar thing happened to me on steam. A friend who was much older than myself stopped playing games when he had his third child and we lost touch. His account stayed inactive for around 2 and a half years before it was taken over by some

Yeah, which I'm thinking is what they want to avoid. I think an element of this is the part where when you get kicked off it will prompt you to buy the game or quit. As a nice solution to lack of demos most games have. That's the

I haven't seen a paper/foil packaged kitkat in years, and this is in the UK. It seems they've abandoned it completely, which is saddening.

I am most annoyed by the Google Play store being unable to seperate games and apps correctly. The app section is littered with games making it difficult to browse apps without being crushed by them. The games have their own section. They sh

I don't even understand how you can ruin Ace of Spades. It was such a brilliant game, all it needed was polish. The game play was simple and brilliant. What did they change so much that ruined it?

Related to the "absolute bare basics" suggestion. Have you considered asking your 50 people what the most important 3 features they want are? From there you can work out exactly what your bare basics service actually is.
