Piracy is preservation. Always has been. Rightsholders must not be allowed to control how works are preserved, else they can very easily steal from the eventual public domain in ways that mere piracy can never be considered stealing.

Before I put a modded Youtube app on my phone to re-enable the feature, I would just leave the screen on, turn the brightness down, and place the phone face-down on my passenger seat (all before taking the vehicle out of park, of course).

Some (but not all) of the AI comments are prefixed by an extra blank line. I got S (5/5), A (4/5), and A (4/5) using this tell. Took me less than a minute on the first one (as it took a few seconds to notice the blank line),

3.1 million views as the sun goes down here in Tennessee. I'll concede that's not significantly "surpass" but it's still approximately equal, and may have been more people than saw the actual broadcast.

The problem with modern social media is curation. In the old days, you were able to curate your own feed, set that to be the default, and see posts in chronological order. Now, there are tons of barriers against doing that. "For you&qu

The effective rate for 50i or 60i video, in terms of motion fluidity, is 50 or 60fps. Just because it's half the resolution per field doesn't mean that it's not a "frame" of video in abstract terms, just that it

The most basic method is to "bob" deinterlace, which is more of a form of "interlace simulation" - you take the original fields, place each one in the appropriate image lines of a separate frame of video, then perform so

It looks more like video to me, honestly. It appears to be a smooth 30fps rather than the 18fps I'd expect from Super 8. There are also telltale stair-stepped sloped lines that demonstrate the effect of the deinterlacing. There did exi

I don't think so. Perhaps AI-upscaled? The footage looks legit and would track with the tube cameras that would have likely been used at that time. Although it sucks that it's deinterlaced to 30fps. Video like this really needs to
