Well, I think they'll move the whole thing to a nearby coal or gas power station and fit over the chimney stack. After all, that's where the CO2 is concentrated. It wouldn't make sense to suck CO2 out of the atmosphere as a t

Please make all the digit glyphs the same width. It’s so retarded to see a (eg.) percent complete message jump around horizontally because it went from 11 to 12. I swear it’s a recent phenomena too… bar humbug.

I have thought that everyone was using WSL2 for this kind of thing and calling it a day. What are the reasons for even trying to build a native Windows version?

Why doesn't Google have a go at building something better than iMessage rather than beg for regulations? Also, wrt to RCS its very much carrier oriented, and I personally would not want to have anything to do with them – next thing you

I love diving into other peoples forths and checking out what trade offs they made. After figuring out the model (theaded, token etc.) I usually jump to the flags, dictionary layout and then the assembler (in forth) if it has one. My favori

Motorcycling. Didn’t expect to love it so much getting into it later in life. Love the speed, the acceleration, braking, leaning, the sound and the smell of it and getting over that second-guessed fear of death every time I get the bike out

Honestly after sometimes weeks long latencies waiting on “proceeding to the next step”, ludicrous leetcode exercises and design Twitter, or worse - their business - from scratch on this here virtual whiteboard, I’m so buggered I’m gonna tak

I hope they’re deprecating it and providing a nice off ramp to something else. Of all the frameworks I’ve used, Angular grinds my gears the most. It’s designed by Java people and somehow salvaged by JavaScript developers, needless complexit

I asked a Go programmer how much of the code base was Go error handling boilerplate. He measured it and said 75% I suppose it varies from code base to code base. There’s no denying it’s high though. > handled locally Except in practice,

> Go makes explicit Is kind of an understatement. If the handling code for that is duplicated as 75% of your code base, there's something wrong with the language. There's got to be some other way than all that noise.

I’d reach for Rails, Django or Laravel for rapid prototyping. They all have super fast edit test loops. Rust would be an awful choice for this.

The output looks great. For a resume though, you'll definitely want to export it as with minimal formatting to .docx, test it with a few ATS systems to see if it can be scraped correctly. Even then it probably didn't matter much a
