Noone calls MPEG-4 Part 2 "MP4". Usually it's MPEG-4 Video, MPEG-4 ASP, or (when using that encoder) Xvid.

But does that get the same quality? All the codec performance comparisons I've seen have totally ignored the video quality, making the utterly meaningless.

I use AndOTP. But I imagine most people will use use Google Authenticator and not think about backups until it's too late.

Yes, it's usually just a suggestion. Most sites will work with any standard TOTP app (MS Authenticator, Google Authenticator, AndOTP, Authy, etc). I have all of them in AndOTP (apart from the ones I mentioned above).

You don't need both Google and Microsoft Authenticators though, both of them support TOTP. But, yeah, there are some places that require as separate app just for them, like Steam, eBay, Twitch and Blizzard, which is annoying.

Google Authenticator AFAIK doesn't even let you backup the codes. When your phone is lost or breaks, you have to reset every account by some other way.

But it's not easy for the computer, since it needs to recompile the statement every single time. It's just easy for the programmer, and even that is questionable.

It does have one, e.g. for opening links in tweets, though it doesn't let you enter URLs directly.

A phone number isn't a number, it's a string of digits. It should not use a number field. It's not even just digits, it can also start with +.

I feel like they should go for Pop!_OS, like HP did. Get all the big desktop Linux vendors focused on the same default distro. Also, how come Intel Evo, whatever that is, isn't supported when choosing Ubuntu?

But with all the cons of Bluetooth (need for charging, high latency, lack of high quality bidirectional audio).
