Well, the comment still stands. You can't /reasonably/ deploy Confluence on premise any more when weighing up the cost feasibility of using the on premise service for Data Centre vs Server. The idea of using their cloud servi

I saw this bug. Security risk or not. Changing your password on the idrac and it not being what's expected and having to jump into a DC to change 30+ host iDRACs was not ideal. All because I couldn't find the bug at the time, I re

Everyone shit's on SaaS pricing because, well, for many, many well documented reasons. But with 1Password, I'm paying $55 per annum for 5 licenses for a product that works exceptionally well. Convenience and security here is absol

I concur. Frankly, 5 licenses for $55 per annum is more than reasonable. I've got friends and family members on my family plan now and paying $1 per month, per user. Is CHEAP.

If they had root access to an AWS account, this is exactly what you would expect. If there's a cyber security firm that's been hired to provide analysis they're going to be combing through egress traffic to find anything susp

Yeah, I'm not using swype. Just SwiftKey but I find it gets it wrong most of the time. It occasionally picks up typos and I'm actually writing this comment without manually correcting any errors. To try and gauge how well it does.

Even with that, we had controls on state lines, country boundaries and county boundaries. Literal army check points on these state lines during the harshest lock downs. There's a reason why the Melbourne/Victorian outbreak which w

Yeah, I get that. Willingness to trust the method gets you the results. We went (Australia) pretty hard on ensuring people were held accountable (e.g huge fines, charges and gaol time for L those breaking lock down). Edit: on accountability

This has been a concern for me for a while, but it's possible to use aws cli with mfa by throwing an IdP in front of it. The work flow we used was AWS Vault -> Okta -> short lived AWS creds.

You better believe it. I couldn't believe what the sky looked like at night when I moved to Australia from the UK. And I was in a relatively suburban setting then. I regularly go camping now maybe every 1-2 months out into the outback.
