Backblaze, here's a story. My dad used to run a mailing service, kind of like a UPS store, but non-franchise. We also had private mailbox rentals (PMB) for customers. My dad ran the business for about 12 years. About year 7-8, my dad w

I bought the X-Files mythology collection (main storyline episodes only). The monster of the week episodes are quite average, but if you watch the mythology episodes in order it's a pretty good show IMO, especially if you're into

Something that I don’t see alot of people mention that is another huge problem on Amazon is that many products are exactly the same white label products with different logos and slight variations. Lots of the same alibab products slightly c

I own over nearly 100 games on Steam, mostly bought on sales. Despite the tons of titles I bought, I miss the experience of actually owning a copy of the game, along with the box and manuals that came with it. More importantly though, I thi

Love this comment. I do a lot of self-reflection and one thing I've realized and still trying to change about myself is that I'm a huge pessimist and those 3 things you listed are things I'm terrible at.

As he said, forgiveness and reconciliation. Sticking with it. I’m sure there’s limits and it’s often easy to tell when someone is sorry and trying to change versus taking advantage.

Not for me. I've tried and it's...well, it's not bad, but I don't find it meaty or burger-like in anyway.

Wheat and Ore early isn't actually a bad strategy either, although a tad risky. It allows you to build your first two settlements into cities quickly, which allow you to gather resources quicker, or at least trade them into brick and w

What about EXCELIBUR. "USE THE LEGENDARY POWER OF EXCELIBUR TO SLAY ALL YOUR EXCEL WORRIES!" P.S.: Referring to Excalibur for those that have never heard of it. It's the legendary sword used by King Arthur.

I think internships should be about both giving and taking. Not just simply objects to practice on. If a startup doesn't have the time and money to invest in interns no matter what the payoff is, they probably shouldn't as it is w

Thanks for providing your perspective! I've always wondered what it was like on your side. 1. I totally understand this. I've actually often wondered what a waste of funds it is when I see school districts purchase several hundred

I'm currently working for an education startup right now. We are struggling. Have been for the past few years. The biggest problems I've noticed: 1. Cost. When you deal with school districts, you usually sell for X number of devic

I went to a hackathon a few years ago. At the end of the hackathon, my team member (about 10+ years older than me, I am in my early 30s) asked to contact her on Facebook. I told her I didn't have one, because I didn't. Not even an

What do you consider to be non-trivial? Seems subjective. Exaggerating here, but obviously a git hub project that runs fusion reactor software is certainly non-trivial, but what about a small project that does/looks simple, but really
