But we don't all use Facebook, Facebook found its niche of tech-illiterate people to abuse. The population is a wide demographic and it would be nice if companies didn't try to exploit parts of it.

Meta could help the situation, for instance by providing fact-checking tools and banning rage-bait creators. Instead they have removed those tools and are paying these creators. So it's not just consumers to blame here.

A lot of channels got bought by private equity. YouTube is saturated with similar content so creators have to resort to clickbait to keep up. AI has allowed creators to increase their efficiency writing scripts. I don't know what you b

I don't see how this is any different from how traffic cameras are used. Hot take, but as long as the systems aren't abused by law enforcement I don't see the big deal.

Depending on your country you might be able to buy a ZX spectrum for a reasonable price. Their through-hole circuit boards are very repairable and there's a some videos on YouTube explaining how to properly troubleshoot them. I've

I did some digging into Artichokes sourcecode to get inspiration for making a Ruby like language in Rust. But I found the codebase a bit complicated and ended up taking more inspiration from mruby instead. It's deeply segmented into di

This reminds of a video[1] from More Perfect Union about another (the same?) crypto mining facility in Texas. [1]: https://youtu.be/m7_WDzPyoqU

Because you see a robot do one thing, doesn't mean it can do other things. We've had good robot demos for decades. For all we know they could've spent 5 years and 10 million dollars on getting this robot to fold laundry. That
