I tutor kids in my free time from ages 4 up to college. I find that Processing/p5.js is a great tool for teaching younger kids how to use their imagination through the vessel of built-in functions + tweaking arguments to instantly see

Maybe I’m misunderstanding the problem but any reason why you can’t just call .map on the input array and if el.name === John -> el.hobby[knitting] = true, then return el regardless?

Looks great on mobile. Aside from not being at my computer to give feedback on that, I’d consider a dark color scheme that isn’t completely/near #000000 as the background with white text. The contrast is too taxing on the eyes imo and
