Yes less suffering in just about every US city then SAN Fran in this regards. Thankfully it's not seen that/as much in Nashville and Baltimore. More in the latter then the former.

What's the starting salary for a front-end dev from jr to intermediate to sr. in the valley/san fran now? Here in the Mid-Atlantic it ranges from 60k to 150k.

I'm thankful to work in for the federal govt. where mid 30s to 60s is the age range. Also, the pay for fed govt work is comparably to what engineers in Silicon Valley make, but the cost of living is way lower in this Mid-Atlantic city
