I get that it's meant but be wrapper for common use cases, but I use ZFS on root and had to craft a custom initfs. The other nice-ities sound great (some BTRFS inspiration?), but some of these are at distro-devel level.

I see how this could work for notes, but as a software developer, a lot of my Projects would just be symlinks to my areas. #> ln -s projects/'write monthly invoice' areas/$regular_gig/tex #> ln -s projects

As a self-taught programmer and resident of a town well under 20k pop (most of whom are well out of my age group), i really identify with this. it's helped a bit to learn deeply and engage with others who have done so, and in some ways

Ther, was this awsome passkey I saw recently that you could only use by uploading programs to it (vs. using the TPM API), and then that program's hash would occupy a PCR slot. This would allow minimal protocols, specialized to their us

I think you'd dig Ikcelaks Magic Sturdy layout, which has a dedicated Adaptive Key (ie. morphing based on your last keypress, while fitting in with the overall layout by keeping finger usage and comfortable motions in mind). I mention

ooo, that auto rollback sounds really cool-- got any idea how that's done? I assume it's handled by checking for eg. a dirty-fs-flag just before the initfs boots the real system, but what if there's breakage in userspace (eg.

My 2c might not crush the scale, but FWIW I'd expect XMPP clients to be easier to work with if I had existing PGP keyrings that I wanted to re-use, favoring consistant identities and protocols over more stringent avoidance of key re-us

It's funny that you mention `C-s`, because `isearch-forward` is usually used for low-latency literal matches. In what workflow can Khoj offer acceptable latency or superior utility as a drop-in replacement for isearch? Is there an exam

It's a step in the right direction, but the issue is that there's so much that can't be removed from Emacs with build flags, eg. `lisp/play/`. Even setting the `-games` USE flag in Gentoo only removes cross-user sco
