As a side note a lot of exhaust/turbo isolation in tuned cars also has to do with melting/overheating other things in the engine bay. Especially on street cars.

My observation is PhDs make mostly great salesmen in normal tech companies that aren't doing anything crazy. It's a pretty good strategy to have a team of theoretically competent, titled, well spoken and well dressed employees to

The issue I see with AUTO most often is noise. Almost every time I've disabled AUTO was in the beginning of a drive while talking to someone having to yell over the fans or just going to move my car 10 meters and it just being annoying

Not sure Civ is a good idea for a VR title. The games take too long for most people to put up with the headset and the controls look like it'll be just normal Civ with two mice. I'd try it because I'm a VR simp but yeah..

As long as you keep the innovation boner in check it's fine tbh. I've noticed all of my problems in web come from trying to do sexy things. Stupid sexy things should be kept offline unless you sell stupid sexy things.

Don't give them ideas. The high end LED headlights (Audi Digital Matrix for example) can already project images. My crystal ball's already showing a highway filled with McDonalds and KFC logos projected on the ground, then you get

I wanna hate it but I've done it. It's just tempting to go for the "this looks a bit wonky" or "add CSV import/export to X" ticket instead of the "weird bug, can't reproduce, here are some logs,

It's common in non-dead languages. If your language is smaller you're bound to have a lot of "foreign words" in it. To this day I find it funny how my native language teachers would start to speak with tons of english an

In my experience if you have tall soles/chunky boots they often ask you to take them off. Also if something bad happened there's sometimes theater where everyone has to take them off and they swab your hands.

There will always be friction between people, not even just based on physical attributes.. If a company/team doesn't have a subgroup/clique I can get along with the only thing the company can offer me is more standalone tasks

Also motorcycles/scooters. Unless you have children or live in a place with serious snow a motorcycle and a car sharing app/rentals for when you need to haul a sofa or something is a great combo. Cheap, easy maintenance, good fuel

Kinda, sorta yeah. If I'm split between a Tesla and SOMETHING ELSE, be it an electric MG, CNG Golf, Petrol MX-5 or Diesel A3 it'd play a role but that's too much of an edge case for 41% (of course it's a combination of t

I honestly think most people don't care. Especially to cause a 41% drop.. If someone calls me a nazi in the LIDL car park for driving a Tesla I'd honestly think it's because of my shiny bald head, not the car.
