You say wait 3-6 blocks -- which makes sense for large transactions, but are there cases where 1 blocks have been getting reversed? Is this happening now because some parts of the network are on stale or diverging info?

I can think of some unusual situations with a really small company. Say you're looking for people who can do two tasks and those two tasks either don't come along in the same person or take too much time for one person. So you&#

Ideally the people writing the policy could provide the sources that we could scrutinize. I just keep hearing politicians and advocacy groups saying 77% for literally decades now. I'm willing to accept there is a gap. I'm not w

Should schools still be closed now? What else should be closed still? Should schools be closed so firmly now that discussion of the subject is racist? At what point are people even allowed to discuss it?

First, anti-cheat software doesn't guarantee anything of the sort. There are still plenty of cheats out there. Second, this was already a solved problem since we could run our own servers and kick whoever we wanted. But this has larg

You would want to cheat only the one time, and have your program copy the original program into place, change the timestamps, and delete itself. More obvious is don't collect it with a person who is legally not allowed to collect it.

I think the article is making a point through hyperbole. Citations have become a scoreboard on the back end. On the front end they've become more important than the content itself. A bad citation is viewed as some sort of academic cr
