Discover is still the easiest card for a student / young person to get without a cosigner. I used one to build up credit to get an Amazon Visa.

One of the better pieces of advise I got in college was to use dictation to make a rough draft. Basically explain what your topic is about as if you were telling a friend, or get a friend and explain it to them. Then go back and edit.

Another example stolen from reddit (this is one of my favorite scenes in the movie, opening montage to the original was one of the most beautiful things I saw on a movie theater screen this year): http://puu.sh/rk1e0/8b

I've generally seen people get on the wagon of bashing Ars then not having anything better as a replacement suggestion. Like yeah I know the actual blog source is better but I don't know every tech blog on the internet.

I was one of the other Atrix people. Never got the full dock because I didn't think they'd ever continue with the concept. A shame they didn't, having more then one port on a phone might be nice.

The subsidized ride thing is pretty crazy too. Uber offered me the ability to pay them a fee, then get a number of flat rate rides. I got a ten pack, used it to go across my city (a 25 dollar ride normally, even with pool) for 2 bucks. I th
