Putting electricity into the grid is almost useless in Germany because you don’t get much back. Solar panels and the legal stuff behind them is expensive and it will take many years to break even. Might be better with an electric car, but y

Would be a good thing to be honest. The EU is a trade pact that went horribly wrong with overregulation and a lot of costs. What happens in the EU is not voted for but if you are in the EU is. Huge governments are just as harmful as huge co

The EU is not really voted by the people. Very indirectly at max. And even then there are many people with cars who want to keep their cars but still vote green here. For some obscure reasons.

What do you mean "try them out"? I said I drove one and i did not like it. It is not just the rattling interior that i dislike. The pedals, the wheel size, the rear passenger space, the trunk space, no speedo and no HUD in front o

1) You could just buy a diesel which seems to be better with co2 emissions for now. Nuclear power is a rarity still.

Do not get your hopes up. Governments have decided that ICE engines will get killed and that will happen. Have a look at Euro 7. Looks like from 2025 onwards the EU wont be able to buy ICE cars anymore. Even PHEVs will probably have i4s at

Polestar builds tunes for regular Volvos and 2 cars. The polestar 1 is a plug in hybrid coupe that costs about 200k and the polestar 2 is a model 3 competitor that is rather new.

History always repeats itself. Strong men create weak times, weak times create strong men. If you look at history, 1917 problems created 1932 solutions. What do we learn from that? Not a lot, apparently.

Mazda has no real interest in EVs. They have publicly said that BEVs are not the future and a stupid concept. They are just producing EVs to please the EU.

Muscle memory kicks in just like with buttons. The Volvo infotainment does that really well. You can easily learn where something is. Meanwhile with BMWs you still constantly have to look at what you are doing. But that was even normal back

Let’s be honest: most jobs are underpaid in Europe. Especially the lower wage ones. Living costs are rather similar in the us and in the eu. That mostly depends on what city you live. You can’t fire people easily so there is a huge risk inv
