I'm using Algo right now and it's perfect if I plan to maintain the same server consistently. The problem is that we're constantly traveling around and latency suffers when trying to connect to a box in DO's NYC3 from Vi

I completely agree that it should never be part of Wireguard itself. Mostly looking forward to the project and tooling ecosystem that develops around it.

Just a heads up that Chrome triggers a privacy warning and blocks navigating to https://sureapp.com . You might have a problem with cert management on the domain.

I'm looking forward to the days when we have good user management for Wireguard. It's so hard to scale it across just my family right now.

I was in a similar situation. Port forwarding worked perfectly. In my case the server I was trying to access was behind an ISP (Comcast) managed NAT so I had to go through them to open the port. Much to my surprise they were extremely help

The Chinese middle class is still in its first generation and mobility has stagnated for just a decade so it's still early. It'll be interesting to see whether tolerance for the government survives the upcoming economic slowdown.

This is the main reason I stopped using it. I don't know if they pushed an update to transaction tagging, but it got really bad all of a sudden making the product much less useful to me.

The subpar navigation and traffic avoidance are a function of road design in high density environments. We know how to make that go away: create separated bus only right of way with traffic light synchronization.

The way you’re feeling is not just about your role as a computer worker but as a worker in general. There are three ways to break out of this: 1. Play the game inside the system - work “really hard”, be “visible”, demonstrate “strategic lea

The actual mechanics of owning the shares is incredibly complicated. It’s unlikely that any of us have index fund holdings that represent integer share counts. Handling stocks when they move in and of the index without spiking the price is

As a New Yorker, I had really high expectations for the Tokyo subway system when I was there for three weeks but I was entirely underwhelmed. Japanese public transit is actually completely broken in ways that are appalling: 1. Line transfer
