So if I wanted to build a app that delivers customized news, I create a user account + save their preferences. Then when they authenticate, the app only uses a GET request to fetch those certain feeds specified in their preferences? Thanks

Oh I think I get it, instead of waiting for a user to click on a page and then call the server to render that page, the flat file method renders all the pages at once w/o worrying about which pages the user will click on... Correct?

Can someone explain the concept of "flat files" to me and why people like to use it?

Can TWC get in trouble for this? Isn't this a classic case of anti-competitive practices? And I wonder if Comcast does the same thing for Netflix...

Google, search the app stores, check Twitter... those will get you an idea of who the big players in the market are. Also AngelList may have some competitors/similar startups

So I can animate a movie/short film, take a screencast of it, and use Phosphor to render the movie on the client side? That plus html5 audio could be a new low bandwidth way to stream movies in the future

I think they're right, please release a version that could be controlled by a keyboard + integrate Youtube's API and you could probably break the Internet because it would be too awesome to handle

Congratulations I think it's awesome and would really be great for people who want to make mashups/mixes but don't want to spend a bunch of money on the equipment. Good luck to you and your team!
