Another ex-double bassist, but started on Violin for about 10 years. I agree with the above but also add that any permanent markings would be problematic because wood expands and shrinks and therefore markings would not remain in the place.

Currently the only close reason available inside Teams is "Close as Duplicate". There also currently is no flagging inside a Team.

Know of any ideas around using this for long term Time Series data? Wonder if maybe something like OpenTSDB but with this as backend instead of hbase (which can be a sort of operational hell)

Related, mind blown that kurzweil made programmed music in this presentation in 1965. https://youtu.be/X4Neivqp2K4 He was ~17 in that video, and he built the computer as well.

The linked video in the article isn't very impressive from a scientific point of view (i.e. it could smell the owner doing the burying etc). But it is super cute! https://youtu.be/nNgv3opJqoQ

We use various resources (public data, information from VCs) to figure out the base market rate for each position. Even though the base salary is less because our information says the market rate is less, we don't think developers are

Implement in place to put the fire out. Pushed to half the web servers, made sure it fixed the problem, then rolled it out the rest. Coding under fire :P

We don't think it was intentional. Maybe copy and paste, or something an editor did. To clarify the "comment" was not a Stack Overflow comment, but rather a comment in a code block inside a question.

I think the author's idea is that he is representative of the 47% of Americans that don't have even a $400 dollar emergency fund. And that "We" is the people in that 47%. If survey is accurate, that large of a percentage

Right. If you get a lot of money it doesn't mean you have to go buy a bunch of crap you don't really want. Rather it can give you influence. You can invest in charities or companies you believe in to shape the future. For example

As a developer I might be more worried about it not becoming at least amongst the dominant players because they might just drop it. But maybe they only do that with consumer facing items?
