Ah, so that's why it's written in Rust. Less people who care about Python packaging are capable of forking it.

A zillion buttons aren’t really necessary in cars. Niche functions you use once in a blue moon can stay on screens. But the basic functions of a car, like turning signals, lights, or gear shifting, require tactile, obvious, well-known inter

This app_offline.htm trick does a full restart of the app. You just don’t need to talk to IIS to do it.

If you’re doing ASP.NET Core, you should be able to get away without restarting the IIS app pool. You can just create a `app_offline.htm` file, wait some time until the process fully shuts down, deploy the new code, and finally remove the .

The 'web-forms' in the link does not look very promising, I wouldn't be surprised if it only supported legacy ASP.NET correctly.

My Spotify account from 2013 predates paid subscriptions on YouTube (2015). I’ve played around with the YTM app, but was not convinced. Also, I don’t want any video with my music, can YTP guarantee I’ll never have my bandwidth wasted by it,

I’d gladly pay 60% the price for Premium without Music (as I have Spotify already), and no background play is an acceptable tradeoff (as I ~never watch on my phone, and I don’t need YouTube’s permission for background play on my computer, a

This blogspam is attributed to "a Senior Cyber Engineer". Are they (a) ashamed of the nonsense advertisement they wrote, or (b) not actually an engineer, but rather a ChatGPT prompter?

There’s native modules to speed up hot paths, and there’s writing 29% [0] of your framework in Rust, entirely sidestepping interoperability standards, like ASGI. [0] https://github.com/sparckles/Robyn says 50% Python,

Is it really going to be faster? In the benchmark they cited in the README [0], they are in 10th place among Python frameworks. This is not a real-life benchmark, as it merely expects a hardcoded response. In fact, Robyn’s 10th place is tha

If you hate Python so much you need to replace the linters, package managers, and now Web frameworks with Rust, why not just go all the way and write everything in Rust?

Modems are harder to get right than CPUs. A CPU needs to do math and work with digital data lines. A modem needs to talk to the mobile network, using radios, and a bunch of standards that were built up since the 90s.
