The Galaxy Nexus has a resolution of 1280x720, the 4S has a resolution of 960x640. I would say the screenshots are accurate to scale.

There's a built in back button in Android, sticking another one on the interface looks completely wrong. It is invariably cheap iOS ports or webkit wrappers tuned for iOS that do this.

CDNetworks, we tested global page load times with Gomez. CDNetworks was more stable and usually slightly faster.

I think NPM is at the opposite end of the spectrum to PEAR. Just try figuring out what the standard Mongo or MySQL library is with NPM. I think there needs to be some level of curation and/or tiering of packages.

Try other CDNs. If you're happy to pay, you can certainly get an awful lot better than Cloudfront.

One thing I've been thinking about for an architecture like this is to use an event machine on the frontend and make the API calls asynchronous to negate the latency issues.

Or just install npm manually. Clone it, edit one line to bypass a check, `make install`. Remember, if it's 0.5.x compatible, it's probably 0.6.0 compatible.

I think the best advice he got was to contact the EFF, who are getting together a list of lawyers who will help him pro bono.

What I would be more interested is interconnectivity between these elements of the stack, which rdbms have an API for the language I have selected for example.

You let people run shell scripts on deployment, is this why your service is down? Seems reminiscent of phpfog's mistake of running post-deploy scripts for users as root.

From the Firefox 5RC1 release notes: > Background tabs have setTimeout and setInterval clamped to 1000ms to improve performance As far as I'm aware, Chrome does this also but I'm not sure what version it was introduced in.

It seems to stutter if you change tabs, is this due to restrictions in Firefox background tabs and timers? Edit: Awesome stuff, btw :D
