If your newspaper had a skeezy way of disguising a subscription as a purchase these things might be similar.

That's not how I interpreted the original post. To me it read that they are switching their lead platform to Android rather than their product.

I'm pretty sure that will cost both money (likely prohibitive) and significant developer time.

Trains are my favourite place to get work done. I'm not sure what exactly it is about it but I can get 3 solid hours of focused work done, usually the work I've been avoiding for the previous fortnight.

Yes, but there's a greater chance that basic tutorials that for example use unsalted sha1 will use this method instead. It's just as simple for a beginner to grok, but secure by default.

In some cases short and readable ends up as "more secure" by virtue of being implemented correctly.

A standard API with sane defaults is an excellent idea for a language with so many developers of varying competencies.

I filed a formal complaint to the FTC last year for Beatport doing this after complaining about it to them and essentially being told to fuck off. Their emails still arrive and get filtered to my trash. They're still in violation with no si

Instead of having a "How it Works" button (which doesn't work on Chrome 22) you should do the graphical explanation of the service on the homepage.

It literally took me 10 minutes to change some colours and adjust some border radius sizes. That coupled with not using the big ticket bootstrap navbar left me with a site that was not obviously Twitter Bootstrapped. I am not a designer.

"Even" frolicking? Frolicking is a pretty common word. If it was called frolicking.io and you knew someone who went by the username, you would similarly assume it was either an uncanny coincidence or it was that person you knew?

That was the point, your suggestion was that it was either an uncanny coincidence (really?) or someone you know. My contention was that as a word that returns two and a half million results on Google, it was obviously neither.

Twitter Bootstrap header cheapens the whole thing for me. It's fine if you're designing the documentation for an open source project. It's not fine for a commercial product.
