You can download the beta from http://www.mailboxapp.com/ now, but you'll need a betacoin to actually use it. Apparently existing users of Mailbox can expect "betacoins" granting access today.

You just need to visit the the page with the "phunt" coupon code in the url, it doesn't check for a Product Hunt referrer.

What's the deal with people linking to Product Hunt comments instead of the original article, it's not the first time I've seen it happen.

There's 6TB of bandwidth built into this home rolled solution. That's going to cost at least $350 at cdn.net.

You don't have to design around the 0% case, so long as you functionally handle it as this design does. Incidentally, I'm pretty sure I've seen one of the Spanish stations use the vertical score format, a quick search turns u

Handling double digit scores is something that you don't need to worry about in football. Not unless it was Brazil versus a local pub team. LTR implies ranking also, but anyone who has watched a few games of football (other than in the

That's bullshit, what about cohesiveness? They're bringing it to all of their platforms so it makes sense that an overall redesign effort happened.

You can use Linode for not cheap VMs too. A good use case for Linode is high bandwidth sites, Amazon's data transfer charges are horrendous.

Some feedback on the design, you're using #000 for those hero images, I would tone them back to something lighter. Contrast is important, but #000 against #fff is too harsh.

I doubt everyone who has to use PHP at work wants to be doing it, some of them are forced to by their circumstances. How else do you think these sorts of articles come to be?

I couldn't get past the paragraph analogy. I'm sure they thought it was clever, but actually it was unnecessary, inaccurate (as all analogies tend to be) and portrays the person the article should be targeting as a dumbass.
