Windows 10/11 S is that path. Microsoft has walked it already; They just have to push the net wider over time.

For those of you in the US (I'm Canadian), there is a bill in congress right now that would make it illegal for any financial service provider to directly or indirectly prohibit or inhibit any legal transaction. It's called the Fa

Amusingly I actually have Video of Atari's Lead of Marketing playing OpenRCT2 on Stream, giving away RCT2 Keys to promote RCT World. To this day, Atari has left us alone though, so yeah it's pretty much not worth it to them to try

Absolutely. They just have to license it, and that license can be for a nominal (think $1) cost. That said, Lego doesn't own the game, so if it came down to it, they could strip all the references to "Lego" from it and probab

If you pop a Google account, Reddit no longer has 2FA, just as an example. Plenty of examples of stupidity like that around. (Logging into Reddit with a Google account bypasses any and all forms of 2FA auth.)

Yes, plenty. It's not great for passwords, (but sometimes it still is! Sometimes sites using MD5 still get popped) but there's plenty of other problem spaces where brute forcing still means brute forcing.

For one thing, I'm fairly sure they didn't yet have a PE environment ready to go; another would probably be a lack of RAM. Installing it to disk first lets you load as needed, instead of all at once.

None that are official anyway, there are ways to trick Windows into doing a 32 => 64 bit conversion. Very unsupported, but it is possible.

Looks like Xceed has decided to relicense away from Apache2 to their own, more restrictive license. (I'm fairly sure that they did not get permission from all past contributors to do this)

Microsoft did it on the XBOX (360? Or the original, not sure) to help track leaks. If you uploaded a video or took a picture, the background of the system menu embedded enough data to find the individual user. IIRC it had to do with a patte

Different developers entirely; The main people behind OpenLoco are the same as behind OpenRCT2; There's almost no crossover with OpenTTD. Also we've never heard of this agreement.

In Canada, it's outright illegal to sell a burger medium done. If you get caught, your restaurant will be closed for a couple weeks minimum, along with a hefty fine. It must be fully cooked, or not served.
