True. If you stay in your domain for a very long time the people with you in that niche space are less and less and when you solve something that wasn't done before it's not necessarily a hard problem. Still there's no reason

Did you just state that FP cannot solve the problem because some protocol wont allow you to specify types in the manner?

Thats actually how its done! You accept all schemas in your db and default value or afterfit around old interfaces to keep compatibility. You never really write directly ofc so maybe the author is confused as to how FP handles this. For a c

The version problem is solved well in FP by catching the old function and translating it cleanly. This ofc also works with data representation. Im not sure what the point of the post is. Minimizing side effects in your code (keeping functio

Theres just no point arguing anymore so i just stopped. These tools can by design not work the way its advertised but if you point that out youll be hit with walls of generated "arguments" why it will be different any day now.

I find myseld using dumber free models more as they reply instantly and keep me learning. Some local models run well already too and do the job. Not sure if i would pay any money when a discarded mac can run these just fine already. This ma

Very good read and great ideas, thanks a bunch. Id like to add my personal #1: Change all environment you come across to the better. I pick up trash, remove the rusty nail, small stuff like that can go a long way.

Im middle aged and look forward to a bright future. Because a) its bad to give up. What if stuff turns out well? You still lose. So i plan for good things to happen. But b) is bigger. Energy is getting cheaper and renewable. Even if we just

Its learned from synthetic training sets generated by iterating over sources variables or structures, modifying them until the code does not compile, then taking the compilers result as the output. This does not make the learned rules bette

i took the time to review your python wasm project and restate the fact that you seem to have 0 idea about how a compiler works. Its simple and rigid rules an AI can pick up easily. If you lack this knowledge people that have it will simply

I think you can tell from some answers here that people talk to these models a lot and adapt their language structure :( Means they stop asking themselves whether it makes any sense what they ask the model for. It does not turn middle manag

Read the logs from Gmail and Microsoft, they will tell you exactly why the mail was filtered. Act on that problem and have your mail appear in inboxes. It's usually relaxed DMARC triggering Microsoft. Gmail accepts relaxed.

I add it here so you can successful self-host: You need strict DMARC for Microsoft. If you change the header on your relay DMARC relaxed filters will pass the mail, but not strict. Because this adds the need to sign every single mail for ev

No, that's because your relay overwrites part of the header which makes dkim strict break. Change to relaxed or don't modify the header on your relay. Outlook business will accept your mail, Outlook private may filter, but the rat

It's not reasonable. Mail not deliverable is not the same as house burned down, recipient moved unknown or sth, it simply means the letter was not received. Who and why messed up is unknown, thus NO mail server will mark you down after
