At home I have 10 computers. I want that only _one_ IPv6 address is visible to servers in the internet...

Therefore, it's insecure by design? ;-) I'm wondering how good the IPv6 support is.

>OpenBSD is great because the man pages aren't absolute shit like Linux and networking is so much better. Linux wifi drivers are absolute crap in comparison. For example?

The author seems not to know that in C++ structs and classes are the same. The only difference betweem them is that in classes the default acccess mode is private and for structs it's public.

"no more SSH for developers" is wrong. Please read carefully: " This new infrastructure will no longer have shell access to the git repositories" kernel.org is more than one server...

conntrack is not netstat. I requires netfilter's connection tracking feature. Using conntrack on a 1MC system will waste even more kernel memory!

No, OpenSUSE for example is using bcrypt. See: http://www.openwall.com/crypt/

TL;DR: There is no need to crack the password. You (as non-root user) can just reset the currently logged in user's password by calling: dscl localhost -passwd /Search/Users/bob

Sorry, you're just wrong. Have you ever called a system call by hand using assembly? Have you ever looked at glibc's source? Habe you ever looked at the kernel's close() syscall?

open(2) is the wrapper within the libc. There is no open(3) on Linux.

It's open(2). Yes, here on my x86_64 it can be hooked. But I've seen lots of setups where this was not doable. As I said it depends how the libc's wrapper is written.
