It's revolutionized our in house tooling at work. No longer do I need to give PR feedback more than a couple times, because we can just ask chatgpt to come up with a lint rule that detects and sometimes auto-fixes the issue. I use it t

It's a crazy sounding goal, but I've heard the idea thrown around that they want them to be closer to airliners in terms of numbers of flights. I have no idea if that's just Elon spouting nonsense or if it's realistic, b

There have been arguments that the sulfur dioxide we have been pumping into the atmosphere from ships has actually been geoengineering keeping temperatures down for decades. https://x.com/hankgreen/status/168753552

I'm so curious what is causing this to launch on a Falcon Heavy! Previous launches of the X-37B have been on a Falcon 9 with an RTLS landing, and now this one is using one of the largest launchers there is. What is it doing with all th

I just had it last week, and I almost completely lost my sense of taste and smell. I'm feeling better and no longer testing positive this week, but I still have basically no sense of smell.

I've found this to be such a powerful thing in the workplace. I work with some people who I almost always disagree with, almost like magic. But from that disagreement can often come better solutions than either one of us would have bee

We recently found that the new artillery.io service is going to be something like $600 or $1200 a month. It's not exactly front and center, and I think it's not fully released yet, but they do have the price in the FAQ which I res

Probably most, considering it's Discord's logo and screenshots of their app used in the article, and discord.io isn't loading with 522 errors right now so you can't exactly check.

Extremely reliable, but it can get expensive to have to buy a moca to Ethernet adapter at each point. You want to stick with moca 2, and there might be some gotchas with older coax wiring, but I previously ran it for years without issue.

But this is basically the absence of a query syntax, a way to query via natural language, and not just get back a list of results, but have it almost synthesize an answer. To everyone who isn't a software developer, this is a new parad

Who said using any for everything? I love using TS for prototypes because you can define the interfaces wherever you feel they're important, and leave the rest to any. And like you said, you can always improve the types later

There's a good middle ground of bundling your SPA into chunks of related files (I prefer to name them the SHA hash of the content), and giving them good cache lifetimes. You can have a "vendor" chunk (or a few) which just hol
