   For me combing the best parts of bash and ipython is the way to go. Up to now this seems more comfortable to me than using subprocess in python or this haskell aproach which needs to be aware of every programme output to give what it promis

   ZPAQ has much to give, a good recommendation. But I also found obnam awesome for de-duplicated backups as it allows cool snapshots which can be mounted via FUSE to be browsed in Nautilus or extracted via commandline tools. Package: obnam Ve

   In Debian sid you can install stuff like llvm-3.5-dev llvm-3.5 llvm-3.5-examples llvm-3.5-runtime llvm-3.5-tools libllvm3.5 libclang1-3.5 libclang-common-3.5-dev libclang-3.5-dev clang-3.5-examples clang-3.5 libedit-dev and maybe some more.

   one more reason for networking done by network-manager or networkd (systemd) instead of bash scripts
