I am not sure Focalboard has the features you are looking for, but outline wiki is a cool notion like wiki and pretty fast.

I can share screen with pipewire on Google Meet. It's not perfect, because you can select specific windows, but it works.

There are Linux distros supporting to musl instead of glibc and they work fine (with some drawbacks, when it comes to proprietary apps).

Bitwarden is awesome and open source. I host it myself. Used Lastpass before.

Yeah the street drug often contains amphetamines or other stimulants. MDMA might be one ingredient, but often isn't.

I have a ZFS pool with exclusively video files. Probably won't see any benefit in enabling LZ4 there right?

Franz and Beeper aren't very comparable. Franz is just the usual webapps combined in one wrapper if I understand correctly. Beeper actually bridges all chat services into a unified experience.

I already have a Matrix server with the bridges I need running. Can I still use your desktop client? It looks sick!

Wow Syphon looks sweet. Gonna try it (knowing that it's not a finished product)

True. I think the bridge even uses it behind the scenes. I am only running the bridge because I already have my matrix server with ever IM bridged through to it. It's pretty amazing to be honest.

Not sure when you had your experience, but they improved on e2ee a lot and as long as you backup your recovery key you should never see "unable to decrypt message" warnings.

I have successfully hosted a Matrix server on the cheapest Hetzner VPS for like $3 and it was super smooth...

How is TSMC going to keep up with all those customers? This is honestly getting crazy.

Kinda. You can set up a matrix server and signal bridge. That's what I am doing with all chat applications.

I very strongly feel like hackernews is backing the wrong horse with Signal over Matrix and it is making me sad.

Don't know about communick, but this https://github.com/spantaleev/matrix-docker-ansible-deploy is super easy to setup and supports all the bridges I ever needed.

I'd be willing to back a patreon that explores this concept further. I'd be worried about browser updates breaking things though.

Even the most aggressive DRM like Denuvo absolutely does work. You might be thinking of Anticheat, which tends to not work. So multiplayer is currently pretty limited, everything else tends to work.

The point is you are cutting down the rainforest anyway. Most dairy is produced on factory farms that feed their cattle soy and corn and other monocultures.

No eggs would be preferable. Still plenty of killing and suffering involved in that industry.

So we are killing billions of animals each year to eat. I very much doubt we are killing trillions of animals by farming plants. Can you show any sources for your claims. Also yeah, the fast majority of crops is farmed for animal feed, so y

I tried this two times, but couldn't get it to work. I ended up going the Shelly switch route with Tasmota and much prefer the solution.

Should just get rid of the two party system and in 20 years there won't be a divide... Of course easier said then done.

I don't think playready DRM is in the Linux version. If that's the case you'll be limited to 720p there as well.
