Plus remote kinda opens you up to everywhere in the world, which in theory if they are skilled who cares where they are? So I seen some remote jobs that will limit where people can work remotely. Sounds like that also helps lessen the appli

Yeah I heard that, I think they are the only state doing that. If you live there 50% of the year. Sounds kinda a odd thing to do if they aren't domiciled there, but I guess the locals support it. Was reading a random forum thread and s

Oh I guess that gives more power if state ran but someone below this thread mentioned even regular apartments will fine you... and I assumed by regular apartments they mean private then.

I heard something like that before, like I guess there's states (maybe most of them?) where you can't use your dorm room on your driver license for some reason. Which seems annoying if you moved across the country and don't i

Interesting, also I thought some states don't consider dorms to be residential. So maybe that adds more flexibility for schools. Like I don't think you can use your dorm address on a state ID or driver license?

Be fined? Is that in a contract? Seems odd with private companies being able to fine people.

Interesting, so sounds like that regulation will stay unless some radial major change like some candidates are promising but who knows, plus the whole socialized medicine thing is a huge debate anyways. Some people say they love there'

I was thinking the same. Especially when working in a very regulated field. Who knows if ICHRA will last, maybe the next administration will scrap it. Kinda like how under Obama they had the individual mandate but Trump ended it. However so

Yeah I can think of plenty edge cases for something like this but it's a neat idea in theory. I was wondering how it'd handle someone using a prepaid card or a credit card without enough credit left on it... Like some first credit

Yeah signin with Apple works on the web if I recall form the keynote but I think a developer offering a way to switch linked accounts makes sense. I think Apple offering a eco system is interesting though but seems to create lock-ins. Like

Yeah, same with Apple Card. Need to have a iPhone as they can’t make a website to view your statements and pay like 99.99% of credit cards have. So if you want to maintain that account and switch to another platform like Android that could

Oh wow, that's disappointing. I was hoping once summer got here, it'd go away and people would forget about it. Sorta like Swine Flu, Zika and Ebola was supposed to kill us all but now we never hear about it.

I thought the heat was supposed to kill the virus? Something the president mentioned, but sounds like they aren't 100% certain... Wonder if it got killed in the summer, if it'd come back in the winter again? Like a new flu?

Nice! I kinda figured each startup would have to produce their own, kinda like how some talent shows have you produce your own video to audition. So sounds like they won't have to worry about that all. I've always had an interest

I do the same. I listen to a tutorial or tech talk, and find myself wanting to keep my hands busy. So I start messing with causal games on my phone. Some stuff I can still follow like a tech talk but If they show actual code or something I

I like the idea of work in a way, but I also think the in person connections are valuable. Maybe a company could have a hybrid of that idea, allow people to work at home but also have a office that's sorta more like a co-working space
