Oh wow, they actually create a new account instead of moving the service? Interesting system. I wouldn't be surprised if they were using some really old enterprise database solution. But if the system works most of the time, I guess no

This is so unbelievable they could mess up somthing like this. I hope this becomes major news. These people shouldn't be paying for someone else mistakes. If the money is mentioned in the contract, I don't see how they could just

Interesting. I thought people went to college to learn, not to work for the school. Do they get paid to do this sort of stuff too? I know I heard of people working in like the library to help pay down their loans. Just never really thought

Interesting. "patents created by their researchers" so if it's a official school project then, and not someone doing it on their own? That would makes since. I don't get why schools need patents in the first place though

Do colleges own startups people create while going to school? If so that sounds horrible considering how much college costs. I heard if you work for a company while also developing a startup depending on the contract the company can claim t

Yep, sounds like it would be useful for this case. Not sure why people are down voting my answer. The other person posted "Chargeback?" - note the question mark. So I took that as if they were asking what a chargeback is, and was

I don't know what's the most abused laws are, but I'd say copyright would probably be in the top 10 list if there was such a list. I wish people who abuse copyright takedowns repeatedly would get a large fine. Then the fine s

I know they say there's online loopholes too. Last time I checked the law was they had to ship the gun to a local licensed firearms dealer, who then does a background check and hands over the gun for a reasonable fee.
