How do you stop reusing passwords? Do you have some scheme for generating sentences of words based on the domain of the site?

OOP has problems adding existing functionality to new types. Interfaces are a go at the problem but they fall short for several reasons. Clojure's protocols are a better solution (as far as I can tell). Clojure also provides multi-methods a

A large portion of the community is REALLY sensitive towards this sort of thing. Also, more people can upvote than downvote.

Dart doesn't add much in the way of syntactic-sugar which is the only problem addressed by CoffeeScript.

What about sub-vectors? That smells like a 2 to me... I'd rather call fold or foldr myself and KNOW how it handled more than 2 arguments. I'd rather do it for add-vectors too, just so it was consistent. You have to define primitives somewhe

It's not right now. It's a lousy CoffeeScript. The thing that makes dart good is that it could, some day, have it's own runtime. Also, the language is being designed by the team that did v8. So I'd imagine they plan to build support into ch

I can't make any sense of this. I think it might be broken. Sent from my iPad (finally that's relevant)

I have an Android phone and recently bought an iPad. After experiencing both platforms I think I'll be buying an iPhone 5 next. If I we're going to do android again I'd get a phone where I could install stock android (like the Nexus S). Oh

Oh I thought you meant, "Let's not legalize marijuana. Think of all the DEA agents that would lose their jobs!" Yes I would agree. I think lawyers are generally pretty smart people and we're losing the prosperity they could be creating.

No. If a job is unnecessary then it shouldn't be done. The fact that people need to have jobs, even jobs which create no value, is a systemic failure.

I've heard that argument and I just don't know how to respond to it. Why would you ever want to _create_ jobs. People don't need jobs. They need food and cars and what not. To my way of thinking jobs should be actively destroyed.

Here is a Bluetooth breakout like I described: http://www.sparkfun.com/products/10559 It's cheaper than the cable. You don't need to implement any protocols.

Why is this better than Bluetooth? All the iOS devices have it and there are breakout boards with RS232. There are even some that are cheaper than this cable...

It's actually a pretty good game for engineers. Also, it rewards you for having basic knowledge of digital design. Here's a hidden door I made using pistons which were just added to the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z98iFceC0zY Als

Enough focus to say, "Hey, good idea". I think it would be better for all of us if Google got any of the potential patents as well. Even if it isn't their main business.

I feel like this is pretty non sequitur. He seems to imply that above some magic number of transistors intelligence will simply manifest itself. Intelligence is more than just computational power.
