That's a good point actually, very open to discussion on lots of things. The main usecase is that I need quite often to do something like +1 or *10 and having to write {{count|add:1}} feels really wrong to me. Maybe having only simple

Did you manage to get hot reload working with TypeScript (without going through Babel in the middle)? Currently using webpack + typescript but still have Babel in the middle for the occasional hot reload. We could drop hot reload but it is

Same here. To be fair the Nix package manager has a name that is actively harming its growth since most people think *nix as in unix when you say nix.

I agree. Docker is still useful in some cases, ie I'm using it to run separate postgres databases for each project. I could use a nix environment instead but Docker is just easier.

You forgot to mention the distribution you're using. I've been running Archlinux myself for the last 2 years and it's relatively painless, some issues with trackpad sometimes but I use a mouse most of the time anyway. For the

I agree, it also makes React component much more complex thant it should. I've seen open-source components with dozens of props for the css and where 80% of the javascript code was actually just styling. I'm not sure what's t

It depends how many models but usually 1 app models == 1 file (taking the app structure from django) unless they are expected to grow. For example you have a comment app that could contain several models: Comment, Thread, Report, etc those

Amazing news! I was looking for how to make cross-platform apps and the best one was React Native and I already do enough React/JavaScript on the web to want to do it elsewhere. Looking at http://www.monodevelop.com/dow
