I don't understand this comment. The English language already has "libra", "library"... As someone who's fluent in English (but not a native speaker) there is no distinction.

Reading the title I expected the article to be about a zipping tool called Icanha Zip. Pleasantly surprised by the great article.

> China made several 'traditional' vaccines instead of using mRNA technology like Sinovac. What? Pfizer and Moderna are the ones that use mRNA. CoronaVac is an inactivated vaccine, which is the traditional method of vaccine.

What a horrible comment. This kind of bigotry should not be here.

Good point, I never thought about those. Still, I'd personally say these are the quirks rather than the entire premise of permanent vs temporary. This is from the perspective of a native speaker though, I don't know anything about

As a native speaker of portuguese, which uses the exact same two words, I can't think of any exceptions. I don't see why this would be a "strange" and "random" language quirk when it makes perfect sense in prac

Are there really no plugins for that? In Doom Emacs "cia" deletes an argument normally, which I assume is done by an evil mode plugin, so I thought there was one for Vim as well.

The biggest upside of Parcel to me is not speed (though that's a nice bonus). What I like the most about it is the fact that literally all I need to use it is run `parcel public/index.html` and it'll figure out the technology

Little unknown fact. The rights to Hatris were then sold to Valve, which spawned the critically acclaimed game Team Fortress 2 :)

There's an aversarial Tetris you can play in any Tetris implementation: no rotation. It's surprisingly hard.

Can you expand on what about it is so interesting to you? My only experience with Fortnite is watching my 13 year old brother practice crazy fast building, and every time I can't help but wonder why they'd rather play that than Ap

I'm not surprised these conversations are predictable to you, if every time you twist the other person's argument into one that fits the narrative.

You can find footage of people defending literally any controversial take you might have. Doesn't mean there are enough subscribers to consider their position.

In the case of code that needs to be transpiled, like Typescript, yes.

You enable sourcemaps on Webpack with `devtool = "eval-source-map"` in your config, and I'm not sure how you expect transpiling to be a problem with testing considering your tests are also transpiled.

My (newly discovered) favorite trick is using the comma operator. Using it, you can (admittedly horribly) log anything in the middle of any expression. This for example will call `console.log(myVar)` and still call `someFunction(myVar, some
