I like how you chose the content of drawing so that it's complemented by lenticular effect instead of fighting against it. In many typical lenticular pictures that attempt to show an animation or 3d effect, there are angles in which yo

If you know just a little bit of electronics, for something like a pedal it might be more straight forward to take it apart, wire up the pedal switch directly to rpi pico and run something like QMK or any other usb keyboard firmware on it.

You get an error that tail call can't be performed which is kind of the point of tailcall attribute. Same thing with regular c++ destructors or dozen other language features which interfere with tail calls, no need for extensions like

The portable alternative is being explicit with your loops, possibly in combination with gigantic unwieldy switch statements or some regular goto (it is still part of standard). But that comes at the cost of readability and sometimes perfor

I guess the idea is was that Firedancer is designed with fixed update rate in mind. And the demo makes an assumption that it will run at 60 FPS = 60 updates per second, probably becoming very fast and hard on 360 Hz screens. But that's

Looking at the demo source code it seems like it is running everything in browser and is not prerendered. It just lacks a parser. So the AST nodes in all examples are created through function calls https://github.com/fal-wo

Initially I also though that they are just using same trick as what they have for rest of the custom colored indicator shapes. But after looking at some teardown videos of EP-133 it seems to be using real 3x(10+1)segment display module for

If some companies explicitly switched to subscription model that would also be an improvement. With proper subscriptions the company at least needs to clearly specify how long they will provide their service in exchange for your money, and

That's the exact reason why techniques based on hard to duplicate random patterns exist. Anyone can buy off the shelf tamper resistance seals, they mostly work against unsophisticated attacker. Better ones have a serial number, which m

You can define nodes and edges on the same line in graphviz. Here is an example: https://viz-js.com/?dot=ZGlncmFwaCB7CiAgYSAtPiBiIC0-IGMgLT4g... Of course depending on complexity of graph you might want to do it separately

One thing to consider for visual programming is whether you are describing data flow or control flow. Most of the examples where visual programming is working well are either for data flow: shader/material graphs in game engines, compo

That's a bit misleading the level of vacum might differ by factor of 10000, but most of the force is still coming from atmosphere. For overall mechanical strength it doesn't matter that much if its 0.99 or 0.99999999999 atmosphere

No diodes, no matrix all you need is two microprocessors (in addition to your computer) communicating with each other over custom serial protocol. Definitely the simplest solution.

I don't think double sha256 makes any difference with regards to collisions. If there is a collision after single sha256 they will still collide after second layer of hashing sha256(x)=sha256(y) => sha256(sha256(x))=sha256(sha256(y)
