I guess that every byte being stored as `mov [stack_ptr], 0x12` is why executable with 2MB array takes 16MB of disk space.

There is https://opengameart.org/ . Major limitation to this idea is that for a decent looking game the assets need to be consistent. Not only in terms of art style, but also detail level and technical constraints. For exam

The trap in C is that you can't have overflow checks after the calculations testing if overflow happened by making assumptions about what the UB does. Once the UB has happened it's already too late. What you actually need is input

You are probably confusing flexible array members with VLA. Those are two completely different features. You are thinking about the one where last member of struct is an array and you adjust size based on malloc size when allocating struct.

Just because some people decided to label floating point overflow conditiona as "infinity" doesn't mean it can actually represent values up to infinity. There are ways of getting floating point infinity which doesn't inv

Sure calculating infinity is easy as long as you redefine "infinity" to be something which isn't actual infinity. But it's useless for many mathematical proofs. Having overflow of some finite floating point calculations

Isn't BPF execution constraints intentionally very tight, 4096 instruction, 512 bytes of stack, limited control flow? I don't think it's currently usable to implement general purpose drivers. Only reason it could work for HID

Just tried to do that exercise in FreeCad (0.20.1) and observed following issues with fillets. Initially for one of the inner corners I had selected 2/3 edges for filleting. This caused fillet to bug out and some of vertices be positio

Nothing was ruled so far. IKEA lawyers just looked at it said they don't like it, doesn't matter whether it's valid parody or not. And in many cases it works, because the potential cost of defending in court is too much.

"licensing" as verb is often used to mean "sell or buy (depending on context) commercial licenses". Even though releasing for free as open source also involves a software license.
