Personally, I yearn for a command line image editor. ImageMagick is nice, but it can't do everything. Once you've gone cli, it's hard to go back to gui applications, since they're so inefficient.

Isn't that what communism in practice is? Or are you on the "real communism has never been tried" side of things?

It's like trying to use a tool all the time expecting it to get better instead of wearing itself out. That's not how this works. No matter how good you get at human interaction it won't change the fact that it will drain you,

A battery won't get better by providing energy to some device. It gets drained. Similarly, introverts get drained by human interaction, so they need to recharge by staying alone. Extroverts on the other hand get drained by being alone

Children used to be a help, because they could work much earlier and had to on farms. So it made economic sense to have them. The incentives have changed.

No need, I already have a job and eat healthy. It's not that I can't do human interaction, it's that it drains me.

It's the letter of the law and that's why the above quoted position (or see below) is indefensible? RMS: "I think that everyone age 14 or above ought to take part in sex, though not indiscriminately. (Some people are ready ea

There's actually a TV series which has the premise that humans fight octopuses. In space. It's called Gargantia.

Bookstores only offered negative value to me, outside of selling me what I wanted. Amazon allows me to purchase stuff without having to interact with another human. Not everyone is extroverted and introverts get drained by human interaction

Millenials are between 39 and 23 years old. I don't think it's useful to pretend that their earning capacity is what defines them as a group.

That's still not the fault of capitalism, but of the people opting for the cheapest solution. To introduce change, some kind of force would be required, which I strongly advise against. As soon as the self-interest of all actors is con

Bash is similar to vim. Pretty weird at first glance, but once you get the idea, stuff just makes sense and the limited knowledge you acquire can be used in different contexts. I think bash is magical in the things it allows you to do with
